Accessible to all levels fused with athletic intensity especially those seeking a stronger and intelligent practice. This practice is designed to help you sit longer and more comfortably, in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum and spine). A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for a longer period of time (between 2-5 mins) accessing deeper layers of fascia.
In Deep Stretch, we apply the principles of Yin, a slower & longer hold per pose to deliver moderate stress to the connective tissues- the tendons, fascia and ligaments- with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
Room is mildly heated between the temperature of 80°-85° degrees for more muscular pliability. All levels are welcome.
