Rebecca Nyquist

Rebecca started practicing yoga right here in Princeton eleven years ago, as an undergraduate at the University. After graduating, Rebecca moved to Asia and traveled to India to deepen her hatha yoga practice at the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore. In 2011, she moved back to Princeton and practiced in this very studio. As Rebecca's practice evolved, she felt inspired to teach and pursued her teacher training under the tutelage of her first yoga teacher, Michael Cremone. She went on to teach at the studio for a year before moving to Philadelphia. Since then, Rebecca has been teaching power yoga classes at Philly Power Yoga in addition to teaching Princeton University athletes and students at the Lawrenceville School. Now, she is excited to be back in Princeton teaching at her home studio and immersing in the studio community.

  • Accessible to all  levels fused with athletic intensity especially those seeking a stronger and intelligent practice.  Vinyasa fuses a collective power poses with symmetry and intellectual body alignment while empowering the students to explore deeper connection to their physical and spiritual strength with options for inversions and arm balance. Class is set at a room temp. of 80-85 degrees. (Warm)
