Natalie has always been passionate about health, fitness and sports! She was an All American collegiate lightweight rower at Mercyhurst University, and post college turned her energies to long distance running. She completed multiple half and full marathons, including qualifying and completing the Boston Marathon twice. Over time, and the rigors of training, her body began to break down. It was at this point, Natalie discovered the benefits of using her own body weight to build strength and flexibility! She went through her own transformation using PiYo (a fitness program inspired by Pilates and Yoga moves), and then began to appreciate the practice of Yoga, and what it can do for the body and mind.
We are excited to announce Natalie will be leading PiYo Strength classes at Rise Power Yoga. This is a unique fitness class influenced by Yoga and Pilates inspired moves that fit perfectly together to form a class filled with choreographed movements to music. The class is fun and challenging and will help improve your strength, balance, flexibility, cardio, core and power.
